Dr. Juliyan Shan

Managing GP Partner

BSc (Hons), MSc, MD, MICGP

Dr Shan is originally from London, where he completed his undergraduate studies in Human Sciences at King's College London and a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Westminster. He went on to study Medicine at Poznan University of Medical Sciences, graduating in 2018. He then completed his internship training in the UK before relocating to Ireland in 2019.

Following his move to Ireland, Dr Shan worked in Emergency Medicine, where he developed extensive experience in the assessment and management of acute medical conditions. He subsequently embarked on the Donegal GP Training Scheme, completing his specialist training in 2024. Throughout his training, he worked across a number of practices throughout County Donegal, gaining broad experience in family and community medicine.

Dr Shan has particular interests in headache medicine and mental health. He is committed to delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care and values building long-term relationships with patients to support their health and wellbeing at every stage of life.

Dr. Jeewan Uragoda

Managing GP Partner

MD, DCP

Dr. Uragoda is originally from Sri Lanka. Graduating from the University of Latvia, he has been practising medicine in Ireland since 2013 and has had extensive clinical experience in General Medicine and Acute Medicine across a range of healthcare settings. He joined the Donegal GP Training Scheme in 2020. During his training, he worked in numerous GP practices throughout County Donegal, providing comprehensive care to diverse patient populations.

Dr. Uragoda also holds a Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI), reflecting his commitment to the holistic management of both physical and mental health conditions. His areas of clinical interest include: mental health, palliative care, and minor surgical procedures.

He is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient-centred care, with a focus on building strong therapeutic relationships and supporting the long-term health and wellbeing of his patients.
